Apple iCloud

What is iCloud?

Apple’s new iCloud service replace MobileME as your on the go data access option. You get a me.com email address that can be used to sync email, calendars and contact between your IPhone, Ipad and Mac or PC and, best of all, it’s now totally free.

Let have a look on other iCloud benefits :

1. Songs bought on iTunes are available on iCloud. Upgrade to iTunes Match and it’ll scan your computer’s hard drive and make the music it finds in iTunes available from your iCloud library – wherever you got it.

2. Every time you take a photo with your phone or download a snap from your camera, iCloud automatically backs up the picture and pushes it out to all your other iCloud enabled devices, with the last 1000 always available via the Photo Stream.

3. You get 5GB of free storage, but any apps, books, songs purchased from iTunes and snaps in your Photo Stream don’t count towards it, leaving plenty of room for emails, texts, documents and everything else.

4. Any books or apps you buy from the App Store are squirreled safely away by iCloud. It saves documents too, so you can start work on that presentation on your iPad and add the finishing touches when you get home on your desktop.

5. Halfway through reading something online? Safari on iOS 5 has a Reading List that you can save to iCloud to read later on your iPhone, Ipad or computer. Plus the new Reminders list can be location-based so I’ll nag you to buy milk when you pass Tesco..
